Poker professor is an online poker school for novice players. It is designed to take the novice player and turn him into a strong player through education and guidance.


The Challenge
Targeting first time visitors and novice players, means that you need to catch the visitors attention and in a quick simple manner and to clearly explain the value proposition. PokerProfessor were looking for the best way to explain their offering and convert visitors to registered users.

The Solution
EyeView created a landing page video comprised of an introduction and five educational chapters explaining everything from “sitting at the table” to “how much to bet”. After integrating the videos and proving their effectiveness, EyeView ran three different triggers on the site checking user behavior and impact on conversion. Once the most effective trigger was identified, EyeView moved to the final stage of the optimization and tested different initiation including AutoPlay.

The Result
I must admit that we first approached EyeView because of the visual quality of their solution. My team and I were amazed when we saw the impact different triggers had on conversion with differences of up to 10% between some triggers! After EyeView completed their conversion process we can report an incredible 18% increase in conversion (Hit to open account)
