Challenge: UMOO’s first of a kind fantasy stock trading game requires players to deploy trading skills for fun and profit. UMOO wanted to engage their players and were looking for the best manner to get new users acquainted with the rules and functionality of the game.
Solution: EyeView offered a complete solution, from video creation and flash player customization, to integration, hosting and ongoing data on user engagement .
Result: 80% of the paying players on UMOO viewed the tutorial videos.

The Customer
UMOO is a first of its kind fantasy stock trading game, offering the thrill and profit opportunity of the financial markets in a unique competitive format. It's an alternative, virtual stock market contest. Players on UMOO can both develop and deploy trading skills for fun and profit.


The Challenge
Umoo’s process requires a player to signup, join a trading tournament, build a portfolio and manage tournaments in a virtual stock market. Umoo is a pioneer in its field and needed to explain in a relatively simple manner the concept of the UMOO platform and contests.

The Solution
EyeView created 1 introduction and 8 tutorial videos designed to explain every aspect of UMOO’s trading game. The videos were served through a customized player build specifically in a manner that best explains the UMOO platform functionality.

The Result
We looked at data comparing 500 players that didn’t watch the videos to 500 players did watch them during the same time period. Out of the group that didn’t watch the videos we had: 150 players sign ups, 100 actually play (meaning buying and selling stocks) and 7 deposit. Out of group that did watch the videos we had 300 players sign ups, 270 play and 27 a deposits. The results are amazing and it is really exciting to see the clear correlation between engagement with EyeView’s videos to our player value.
