EyeView Creates and Tracks Demo Videos
So often testing and tweaking a product once it's released is a nice-to-have but not a need-to-have. Tel Aviv-based startup EyeView believes it can make the refinement process easy when it comes to online product demo videos. The company shoots and optimizes product demo videos for its customers to help boost conversion rates. The company said this week that it received more than $1 million in its first round of funding led by Lightspeed-Gemini Internet Lab and another private investor.

EyeView Raises Seed Round For Flash Tutorials That Convert
Getting someone to do something on your site - whether it is buying a product, downloading software, or filling out a registration form - can be areal pain. Israeli startup EyeView thinks it's figured out a better way to convert Website visitors into buyers, downloaders, and whatnot: Show them a short Flash tutorial with a call to action at the end. These tutorials can be screencasts, video guides, or any rich media presentation (they can also use Silverlight and other competing technologies). Anything that requires a call to action is EyeView's focus

EyeView backed by Gemini Israel Funds and Lightspeed Venture Partners
EyeView, a company transforming online conversion through the use of rich-media content, announced today that it has completed its first round of funding. The round is being led by the Lightspeed-Gemini Internet Lab (LGiLab) and private investors.

EyeView Wins Harvard Business School (HBS) 2008 Business Plan Competition.
Harvard Business School (HBS) 12th annual Business Plan Contest was the culmination of a process that began last January with a total of some 70 student teams. Tal Riesenfeld, EyeView’s VP Marketing, was part of a five-person team that won first place with their business plan for EyeView. Already a going concern, the startup enables communication between businesses and customers through cutting-edge video technology. "It's a thrill to hear about these interesting ideas and the development of these ideas into a business," said Harvard Business School Dean Jay Light.
